![]() Activempowerment has been appointed as the strength and conditioning staff for this year's NSW Suburban Representative rugby program. The NSW "Subbies" kicked off their season last weekend with the sevens squad playing in the Kiama 7s tournament. Fixtures against NSW Country Cockatoos and QLD Suburban are scheduled for May and June. Click on the link below to The Health Tips Page. "Diabetes is a condition where one's blood glucose (blood sugar) is too high. The human body requires this sugar as a form of energy to drive our energy levels, therefore will always have glucose present in our bloodstream. Too much glucose in the blood however, can lead to complications" ![]() We ran our first Gentle Exercise Class (Heart Moves) for Seniors on Friday morning for Hornsby Shire Council. 19 participants attended and were put through a 45 minute circuit. By Exercise Physiologists Tom Lobejko and Michael Kline. Our gentle exercise classes are run at Hornsby Leisure and Learning Centre, Willow Park every Friday morning from 9.30-10.30am with an 8.30 class to be added soon.
