Ergonomic/Worksite AssessmentErgonomics is the science of designing user interaction with equipment and workplaces to fit the user.
An Activempowerment Ergonomic Assessment involves: 1. Our Exercise Physiologist visiting your office (work or home) and assessing your work environment. 2. If required, adjustments will be made to your work station at the time of the assessment. 3. Individualised exercises such as stretching or light movement will be recommended for the treatment and/or prevent of repetitive strain injuries. 4. A report will be sent to you within one week of the assessment outlining the findings, adjustments and recommended exercises. In addition, work equipment may be recommended to improve efficiency, comfort and reduce the risk of a workplace injury e.g. foot rest or split keyboard. |

Return to Work Injury ManagementWe specialise in treating a range of injuries such as lower back pain, shoulder injuries, muscle strains and fractures.

Pre-Employment Health ScreeningPre-Employment screenings provide employers with a comprehensive report on a potential employee's current health status, previous injuries and their ability to partake in required work tasks.
The assessment will include: - Fitness testing - Range of movement assessment - Blood pressure measurement - Manual lifting ability and technique - Report on previous/current injuries or illnesses which may impact on the employee's ability to fulfill required work demands and recommendations to improve fitness levels and workplace manual-handling techniques. - Other testing may be undertaken depending on the job requirements. |
