Hornsby Gentle Exercise classes are taking a two week term break and we will recommence on Friday the 2nd of May. We run two time slots each Friday 8.30 - 9.30 & 9.30 - 10.30 at Hornsby Learning and Leisure Centre. It's lots of fun and a great way to keep active. Photos from the class can be found here.

Activempowerment will be in partnership with The City of Ryde and Northern Sydney Medicare Local (NSML) to provide Lift For Life exercise classes which will commence on the 17th of March. The exercise classes will be held initially at Meadowbank Park each Monday and Wednesday morning. For more information contact us or make a booking through The City of Ryde website. Activempowerment has been appointed as the strength and conditioning staff for this year's NSW Suburban Representative rugby program. The NSW "Subbies" kicked off their season last weekend with the sevens squad playing in the Kiama 7s tournament. Fixtures against NSW Country Cockatoos and QLD Suburban are scheduled for May and June. The human body requires this sugar as a form of energy to drive our energy levels, therefore will always have glucose present in our bloodstream. Too much glucose in the blood however, can lead to complications" We ran our first Gentle Exercise Class (Heart Moves) for Seniors on Friday morning for Hornsby Shire Council. 19 participants attended and were put through a 45 minute circuit.
